Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) offers three academic courses, namely Express, Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) courses. These courses are pathways that shape a student’s journey through secondary school. Each course offers a suite of subjects catering to students’ strengths and interests.

There are opportunities for students to take various subjects at a more demanding level based on their subject-specific strengths and aptitudes. Eligible students can also transfer between courses if they meet the demands of the course.

Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) was one of 30+ secondary schools which implemented Full Subject-Based Banding (Full SBB) in 2022. The school has also been on 1-to-1 Learning since 2012.
